65 years ago, Japan staged one of the most daring and successful sneak attacks in history, declaring war on the United States and bringing the United States out of isolation and into the second world war. 2403 Americans were killed, most of whom were servicemen who were unprepared for the sudden attack.
I honor those who sacrificed their lives during World War II, and the men and women who died on the attack on Pearl Harbor. They are not forgotten in this blog, or in this writer’s heart.

Nice photos. I was hoping someone in the B’nacle would put something up in commemoration of Dec. 7.

Thanks.
World War II fascinates me, more the European front than the Pacific front, but this cannot be something forgotten by new generations of Americans.
