Cheney: American Democracy Increases Terrorism
October 31, 2006 at 12:42 pm | Posted in American politics, Cheney, Iraq, King George, War on Terror | 2 CommentsYou can’t help but feel sorry for Mr. Cheney who yet again claims that our democratic process here in America inspires terrorists to increase their attacks. Oh how he would love to have a dictatorship here in America, then terrorists wouldn’t supposedly time their attacks based on our democratic process. As Josh Marshall says:
Cheney: American democracy at fault for rising tide of Iraq violence.
Are Republicans really buying this load of crap from Cheney? Who else could be his audience?

All people desire freedom, prosperity, and opportunity. What they don’t want is apparent western materialism, secularism, and immorality; espeically as depicted by American media. American media gives dictators, tyrants, and terrorist their power. Their most powerful aurgument again democracy is “Do you want your daughters to become Brittany Spears?”

On Sept. 24, 2006 the National Intelligence Estimate stated, “A stark assessment of terrorism trends by American intelligence agencies has found that the American invasion and occupation of Iraq has helped spawn a new generation of Islamic radicalism and that the overall terrorist threat has grown since the Sept. 11 attacks.”
Cheney and BRoz are apparently ignoring this assessment. You’re giving Brittany Spears a bit too much credit there my friend.
