Republicans failed. Democrats will create programs that stabilize our economy and make it boom again. Republicans will huff and puff and convince uneducated Americans that Democrats take away from capitalistic success. Americans put Republicans back in charge who fail once again. Rinse and repeat.

  1. Where does Carter fit in to the cycle? And Reagan? And Democratic rejection of regulation of Fannie Mae and Freddia MAC in 2005? And who was in office in 1999 when FM & FM deregulated? Just askin’.

    Carter only raised the national debt by $300 billion. Compare that with “small government” Reagan, George H W Bush and George W Bush who increased the government’s size by a whopping $7.7 TRILLION. While Carter failed to lead, he doesn’t compare in terms of big government as those three hypocrites who decry big government while massively increasing spending.

  4. I’m going to revel in my schadenfreude for some time. Once I have had enough to cover the pain I have had to endure during 2002-2003 when I spoke out against the war in Iraq.
