Grand Obstruction Party

I don’t know why the hell President Obama ever thought he would actually have a responsible Republican party to deal with. I don’t know why any Democrat would even try to believe that the current Republican party has any inclination to help the Democrats score political points. Solving economic crises scores political points. Why would Republicans want to INCREASE the popularity of a Democrat? They are an obstruction party. Always have been. Always will be. They don’t believe government should work right. They never have. They never will. They scuttled Bill Clinton’s health initiative, not because there was anything wrong with it, but because IT WOULD HAVE BEEN POPULAR!

Get it through your heads, America, the Republican party is, in the words of Woody, a “child’s play thing.” They are not worthy to lead this country. They don’t actually WANT to lead. They don’t actually want to GOVERN. They would rather obstruct and defeat something that would benefit YOU as long as the blame goes on the Democrats for failing.

Frankly, the Democrats better get off their asses and shove the Republicans aside and get down to work. Who the hell needs them anyways? If they wish to be a child’s play thing rather than actual adult sparring partners, then that is one thing. But at their core, America, this Republican party cares more about scoring political points than dealing with the crises facing our country.
