Obama Won’t Release Abuse Photos

Wrong choice, Mr. Obama. The argument is that releasing these photos will put a big red mark on Americans for Iraqis to kill. Please. It’s too late for that! What it will do, the release of these pictures, is prove that torture was not kept just within the bounds of the CIA, or even the more strict bounds the OLC provided for the CIA. What these photos will prove is that torture was highly prevalent in both Afghanistan and Iraq. (Hell, we probably still torture in Afghanistan).

Release the photos Mr. Obama.

  1. Releasing the photos will accomplish absolutely nothing. They will only help fuel the insurgency and continue to turn public world opinion against America.

Everyone KNOWS that torture was used the media has already exposed that. Providing photos are just going to put logs on the fire of party politics which in the end will get us no where.

I used to enjoy reading your blog with your opinions but you seem to have gone too far to one side. Plus I think that when you drop the F bomb it really detracts from any point that you are trying to make.

  2. Releasing the photos will prove one thing. People who did this kind of stuff will not escape the consequences of their actions. It’s kind of ironic for supposed Christians to say, “hey keep things hidden.” Hasn’t Christ stated that all things will be revealed in the end? What are we afraid of, unless we have something to hide.

I used to enjoy reading your blog with your opinions but you seem to have gone too far to one side.

I’ve never gone too far to one side. Never ever. I’ve always been in the middle. The Republican party has shifted so badly to the right that my views are considered extreme. But they’re not. They are right in the middle. Don’t listen to the party run by Rush Limbaugh, Jared. They are fools, and they are lost. That party needs to be destroyed, to never practice again. They wrecked this country the past eight years. Unless they change (which they are signaling they are not), they must never again be allowed to come to power here in the United States. Unless the people choose their destructive path again.

Plus I think that when you drop the F bomb it really detracts from any point that you are trying to make.

I’m not going to stop swearing. If it fits, it will be used.
