This Would Be A Case of American Terrorism
February 19, 2010 at 12:31 am | Posted in American politics | 13 CommentsJust so we’re clear on this. A man angry at the government flies an airplane into a building operated by the government with government employees with the intent to kill them. This is terrorism. This is done by a guy who watches Fox News and Glenn Beck. Just so we’re clear on where the rhetoric of Glenn Beck goes. To violence against the innocent.

You are wrong to try and connect this guys actions to Genn Beck or Fox News. You really ought to retract this post, you are way off.

I am not in any way wrong to connect this guy’s actions to Glenn Beck or Fox News. Their words feed his hate.
Domestic terrorists come out of the woodwork whenever a Democratic president is in office. Particularly a black one.

I see what this site is and what you are about. You don’t have any content to your disagreement so you are just going to try and label all of your opponents “terrorists.” That is lazy and irresponsible.
I regret that I tried to engage in any discussion here.

um, I only label those who are terrorists those who employ terror tactics. This man flew a plane into a building killing an innocent man. That is terrorism. Those who support him, who joke of his action, think this form of terrorism is okay, because it fits with their preconceived notions.
As for engaging, it’s your choice. This is my blog.

I don’t think I am going to take this site seriously.
Goodbye.

Daniel, daniel, daniel why don’t you ever read the source before you blog about it? Are people that watch Glenn Beck in the habit of ending their papers like this, “The communist creed: From each according to his ability, to each according to his need. The capitalist creed: From each according to his gullability, to each according to his greed” -Joe Stack? I mean I have never watched Glenn Beck, but I would be surpised to hear that he is a commie.

huh? you think he’s a commie because of that? look at who is sympathizing with Joe Stack! This dude is a Glenn Becker.

Tiger Woods’ wife is a terrorist?
Comment by JonE— March 4, 2010 #
You don’t think so? Well reading his paper, the entire point is that he has been deprived of his wealth by big business… that does not sound like he is in favor of capitalism

dude, Joe, if he were angry at Big Business, then surely he would fly his plane into Enron’s building or something. But that’s not who he was mad at, was he?

The guy had a running feud with the IRS over a number of years. I’m not sure he intended to kill anyone at the IRS building so much as he intended to kill himself and leave his “pound of flesh” right on their doorstep.
And if the guy considered that someone in the building might die as a result of his actions, he probably just took a page from our military and was willing to chalk it up as collateral damage. Our military, as has been pointed out in the news rather frequently lately, has killed plenty of civilians over there in the Middle East, all the better, I guess, in the struggle to win hearts and minds.
