Glenn Beck Promotes Violence
January 10, 2011 at 9:34 pm | Posted in American politics | 4 CommentsWhy does Glenn Beck need to be holding a gun while wearing a suit? Is he a policeman? An FBI agent? Secret Service agent? Nah, he’s just a radio and TV personality. So why exactly does he need to promote an image of himself carrying a gun as if in action?
Of course, the obvious is the contrast in the image with his text saying “we must stand together against all violence.”

You know, I never took Glenn Beck seriously until I found out he was so funny. This happened when I accidentally orderd one of his books on audio CDs.
What I see in that photo is a man who does not take himself to seriously. It’s that simple.

Joe,
I don’t care if he considers himself funny. Those who listen to him don’t.

How do you figure?
I mean, I DID listen to him on those CDs and I DID think he was funny. And I know a lot of people who listen to him regularly and THEY think he’s funny.
So how did you get the impression that those who listen to him DON’T think he’s funny? Is it just because YOU listen to him regularly and don’t think he’s funny? That might be so, but that doesn’t mean that everyone who listens to him does not think he’s funny.

Joe,
When I say those who listen to him don’t think he’s funny, what I am meaning is that those who listen to him don’t think he’s just making a joke.
