Taking A Break From Politics

I am going to try to take a break from politics for a week. I will not post, or read, anything that deals with politics this entire next week. Politics today is no fun. There is nothing enjoyable about it. There’s too much hate and violence.

  1. why don’t you spend the week trying too look for something good about politics. make it a mission. and post about it for us. maybe someone has hugged a baby or something .. 🙂

  2. Because at this point the things that make a difference, the things that change the direction our nation is going are not good. And yes, by small and simple means, great things are brought to pass…oh, dang it, I really do believe in that principle. Dang you Trudy!

    Here’s the deal. This week I take a break. Next week will be only writing about positive things. How’s that for a compromise? 🙂

  7. That is why we loose Dan, because Mormon Democrats are weak. Actually, I have taken like a 4 year sabbatical. It’s lovely.

  8. It is a nice break. It’s tough to read the liberal blogs, because they are so right about the Bush administration, but they wear you down, because there is so little we can actually do right now.
