What Has Israel Done For The United States?

The United States does a lot for Israel. Provides Israel with billions and billions of dollars to aid their economy. Billions and billions of dollars to aid their military. Holding back UN Security Council resolutions that would be severely detrimental to Israel. With all of this, we see evidence of Israel getting what it wants from the US. For example:

That’s rather arrogant for Israel, whose existence relies strongly on the support of the United States. So a question for anyone reading this blog: what has Israel done for the United States? Or is this supposed to be a one way street, and we’re subservient to the whims and demands of the Israelis?

The Grievous Errors in Judgment of Ezra Taft Benson

I’m only writing this so I have it in my blog for future consideration. The FBI has opened, or made public their file on Ezra Taft Benson and his attempts to curry favor with J Edgar Hoover with regards to the John Birch Society. It is amazing that ETB makes J Edgar Hoover look like such a judicious and reasonable man. That’s how far extreme ETB was. I mean, take a look at the letter he sent to Hoover about Eisenhower:

Benson also soon sent a book by Welch titled The Politician, noting it was what led him to his conclusions about Eisenhower.

In the book, Welch argues that Eisenhower was either ignorant, a politician blinded by opportunism or was “consciously aiding the communist conspiracy” — and said it really didn’t matter because “they all come to the same end … namely tragedy.”

Benson wrote Hoover that he inscribed the following words on the flyleaf of the book after he first read it:

“Have just finished this shocking volume. … While I do not agree with all or the extent of some of the author’s conclusions, one must agree that the documented record makes the thesis of the book most convincing.

“How can a man [Eisenhower] who seems to be so strong for Christian principles and base American concepts be so effectively used as a tool to serve the communist conspiracy?

“I believe the answer is found in the fact that these godless communist conspirators and their fellow travelers are masters of deceit — who deceived the very elect. How our people need to be alerted and informed.”

Benson added that he hoped the $1 book would be made available widely.

“This story must be told even at the risk of destroying the influence of men who are widely respected and loved by the American people. The stakes are high. Freedom and survival are the issues,” he had written in his copy of the book.

Benson also wrote of Eisenhower: “I presume I will never know in this life why he did some of the things he did which gave help to the [communist] conspiracy. It is not my divine prerogative to know the motives of men. It is easier, however, to judge the consequences of man’s actions.”

It was clear from this account that ETB had little to give Hoover except political headaches, and Hoover did his best to distance himself away from this lunatic. And I honestly believe that’s how Hoover perceived Benson, as a raving lunatic. Daring to call the Supreme Allied Commander of World War II and the President of the United States for two terms a tool for communists? That’s just lunacy. That’s all I’ll say for the time being.

Unbelievably Stupid Idea

It is amazing to think that these two idiots are Democrats who used to work for two Democratic presidents who went on to reelection campaigns. One won and the other lost. Now these two idiots are telling another Democratic president that his best choice is to not seek for reelection. What a completely utterly stupid idea. Their logic is terrible. They blame the divisive nature of today’s America on Obama! Jeez, who needs enemies when you have friends like these.

Republicans: Israeli Security More Important Than US Security

That would be treasonous. But what’s new:
